Thank you to POCs Leon and Karen for hosting the Saratoga Battlefield walk on Wednesday, September 23, with scenic trails, wooded paths, and historic sites along the way, it was a wonderful place to combine walking, history, and good friends!
What a spectacular early-autumn day in historic Cherry Valley! Thank you to Teresa and Marjorie for hosting Saturday’s walk on September 26. We explored the charming village of Cherry Valley, known for its rich history and historic sites. Though the village is small, its biannual Kite Festival draws many people for a fun-filled day!
Join POC Vera on Wednesday, September 30, for a walk through Scotia! Come explore this charming village and discover a little of Scotia’s history along the way. Enjoy a fun day of fitness, friendship, and exploring with fellow ESCV walkers. We hope to see you there!
Join POC Tad on Saturday, October 3, for the final recreational bike ride of 2026 from Queensbury to Lake George. This out-and-back ride heads north to the south end of Lake George, then follows the shoreline through town. We’re hoping to see some fall color in the leaves this year! Come enjoy a fun day of fitness, friendship, and scenic riding with fellow ESCV cyclists.
On Sunday, October 4th, join POC Louise for a walk-in historic Bennington, VT. Enjoy the charm of Old Bennington while learning a little history, including the 1777 Battle of Bennington. We’ll also enjoy the beautiful fall scenery. Come out for history, fun, fitness and friendship!
