It was a beautiful morning to walk in Schuylerville/Hudson Crossing on Wednesday, July 8th. Thank you to POC LaVerne Stiles for creating the walk, and to Linda and Malcolm for assisting with registration. Participants enjoyed the Champlain Canal towpath, the historic village of Schuylerville, and the scenic trails of Hudson Crossing Park. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
Thank you to POC Tad Darling for creating Saturday’s Schenectady Mohawk Bike Ride on July 11th. Riders followed the Mohawk River to Erie Canal Lock 8 and through Schenectady’s historic Stockade neighborhood, enjoying scenic river views, local history, and great camaraderie. Thank you to everyone who participated!
Join POC Larry Godshalk on Wednesday, July 15th for a walk through historic Oakwood Cemetery in Troy. A National Historic Landmark, Oakwood spans 280 acres of wooded parkland with scenic trails, ponds, sculptures, and impressive stonework. Along the way, enjoy wonderful views of Troy and the Hudson River Valley while exploring one of the nation’s finest rural cemeteries.
